Personal Use License

What you get

Your purchase or free download grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and personalize the selected design for your own personal events.

You may edit your design using Ceremono or supported external editors, download your permitted files, and print copies for your personal event.

You may not

Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or share the design as a template or digital product.
Upload the design to Etsy, Creative Market, or any other marketplace for resale.
Sell modified versions of the design or include it in digital template bundles.
Share editable source files or template access with others for their independent use or resale.
Claim ownership of Ceremono’s original artwork.

Ownership

Purchasing or downloading a design does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted remain with their respective owners.

Enterprise: commercial use

Accounts on our Enterprise plan get a commercial license on top of the personal one. Planners, agencies, venues and other professionals may:

Personalize Ceremono designs for their clients’ events and for events they organize.
Print the designs, or have them printed, and deliver the finished pieces to their clients, including as part of a paid service.
Use the designs across as many client events as their Enterprise agreement covers.
Sell physical printed products made from the designs (invitations, signs, cards, tags and the like) in their own shop, in store or on their own website.

Revenue share on sales: every sale of a printed product made from a Ceremono design owes Ceremono 10% of the sale price. Sales are reported and the share is paid as set out in your Enterprise agreement, and we may ask to see the sales records they relate to.

Digital sales stay off limits on Enterprise too: the designs may not be sold, sublicensed or shared as templates, digital downloads, printables or editable files, nor listed on Etsy, Creative Market or any other marketplace in any form. You still may not claim ownership of Ceremono’s original artwork, and the commercial license ends with the Enterprise plan: pieces already delivered to clients may stay in use, but no new sales may be made. The exact scope is set out in your Enterprise agreement.
